I’m back. The fog has lifted, the earth has shifted and raised the gifted. You knew I’d be back so pack your bone and hit the road jack, cause daddy’s home.
~Suitable words from the always eloquent Kid Rock.
Two months since I last wrote a post. Wow. A lot has happened in that time.
I’ve moved across the country, straight from one coast to the other. I found out I am going to be an uncle. And I finished my novel.
Yes. I finished it.
As mentioned in the past, I decided to break my novel Frostarc into three separate novellas for the ebook market. The first novella is entitled Fear: The First Frostarc Novella. You can download it to your Kindle right now. I’ll let you know when it’s available for purchase on other devices.
Fight: The Second Frostarc Novella should be out in about four weeks, and the third and final installment not too far after that. After all three novellas have been published I will be releasing Frostarc in its full form for both e-book and print editions.
This is so exciting!
I’ll be keeping you updated along the way!
A story of mindless coniumerssm, this deep horror novel of zombies is best read with a few lights on and companionship nearby. In Brian Kaufman’s third novel, Dead Beyond the Fence, the protagonists must fight, not only the living dead, but personal shortcomings, depression, a missing social structure and well meaning re-constructionists. This is taking (USA) zombies back to their roots. It’s about time too. There’s no zipity-do-da-Diznee-Hollywood endings here. Kaufman has stayed true to a genre that has lost itself. Writing like this redefines horror, redirects it and makes it literature worth discussing (or is that disgusting? hahaha). If you want raw, visceral, cold, damning horror of the zombie kind, you’ve found it. If you want sparkling vampires, look elsewhere. The fences hold back the dead, but they don’t fence in Kaufman’s writing skills.
Can’t wait to read this book by the sexiest author of our generation.
Huzzah!
